About ConsumerPulse

What is ConsumerPulse?

ConsumerPulse is a real-time consumer analytics tool designed specifically for craft beverage companies. It provides insights on your venue, your competitors, and national-level trends. We’ve developed a framework of the top ten motivating factors for visiting a tasting room and track consumer behavior across these factors and more. ConsumerPulse details visitor demographics, sentiment, experience factors, competitor comparisons, and allows custom queries into our master dataset to look at industry trend movement across all ten experience factors.

Optionally, you can opt-in to provide your sales data for a section of its own unlocking the power of consumer insights and sales figures.

How does ConsumerPulse add value to my business?

If you’ve ever found yourself wondering:

– How are consumers perceiving our brand compared to our competitors?
– What do different customer segments (e.g., men, women, families) want during a visit?
– What new beer or drink styles are trending across the last three months?
– How can I improve my customer’s experience?
– What do craft beer consumers think about [INSERT YOUR TOPIC OF INTEREST]?

ConsumerPulse is for you. By providing real-time insights on your brand, your competitors, and nationally, you will be making data-driven decisions for products, events, and just about any other customer-facing decision you have to make.

Can I filter data by different segments (e.g., men, women, families)?

Yes (and even more than that)! Every consumer data visualization is filterable by brewery name, month, year, a specific date range, state(s), gender, sentiment, persona (e.g., Beer Geek, Social Drinker, Family), and specific keyword match.

Ever wondered what women craft beer consumers think about trivia night in North Carolina during the summer months? ConsumerPulse has you covered.

What are your data sources and how do you analyze it?

We draw our insights from publicly available information (e.g., Google reviews, Yelp reviews, social media comments). We utilize web scraping to get individual pieces of raw text and feed it to language models tagging specific elements based on the user’s input.

For example, if Michael leaves a review of his favorite brewery, he might say: “Enjoyed the Pineapple IPA. Incredible burger. Went with my group of friends and they enjoyed the variety of drinks available. Awesome outdoor patio.” 5 stars, left in August 2024.

Our language models assume Michael is a man, he enjoyed a specific beer and a burger, went with friends, and enjoyed the outdoor area. Multiply these insights by more than 10,000 pieces of data with a real-time feed? You get to some pretty meaningful trends.
